Memorial Day Camping Trip

A fun little camping trip before the big move.  We had fun for a few days before going home and packing for a week straight.  We went with 3 other families from medical school . . . the Davidsons', the Stevens', and the Codd's.

We were so proud of Jay for doing the zip line (after standing up there for about 10 minutes)

The whole FAMILY!
Parker loves his ball and mit!

At graduation Rich was promoted from 2nd Lieutenant to Captain!  As a resident now, he is officially on active duty.  Rich has worked hard and we are excited to start a new adventure!

We are proud of you babe!
Some of Rich's family was able to come.  Thanks guys for your support.

Graduation Trip

I never thought the trip would happen, but it got planned and we had a blast.  We went on a cruise with 2 other couples from med school . . . Miles & Missy Layton and Cameron & Beckie Codd.

Jesse & Adam's Wedding

Congrats Jesse & Adam!  It is always fun to have an excuse to come to Utah and Colorado to see family.  The wedding was amazing and you looked beautiful.

One day after the road trip we headed to Utah.  Thanks Aunt Jesse for getting married in Utah so we could see more cousins!

Our Road Trip

Rich ran his first marathon in Cleveland in 2006. He qualified for Boston and decided this was the year since we might not ever live this close to Boston again.  We made a road trip out of it. We stopped at Niagara Falls on the way there. Rich ran a great race while I battled the boys at the finish line for over 3 hours. It was all worth it though to see Rich finish the race! And then on the way back we visited my roommate from BYU, Kelli Granum and her husband, Bryan. I was so glad I got a chance to see her all pregnant and cute! I hadn't seen her since her wedding. We also stopped at my cousin Cheryl's house. Our kids had never met before and they had a blast playing until way past bed time. It was good to catch up with Cheryl and her husband, Skylar. They are also in residency a couple years ahead of us.

the BOSTON MARATHON!

Jay got tired after 1 block of walking.  Good thing I have my cup holder as an extra seat.  I'll never forget my porta potty experience.  I had all 3 boys in there with me so they weren't left alone with thousands of people in Boston.  We could barely move and everybody was staring at me when I came out.

A Blog!

I have finally started a blog!  We just moved to Georgia so I thought - a fresh start.  I will back track just a little bit though since we have had some fun months of play time before moving here.  It has been on my "to do" list for a long time to start a blog.  Hopefully updating and keeping up on it won't be on my "to do" list as long.  I  love all of my friends' and families' blogs and you guys have all inspired me.  We are even farther from family now and we have moved from all of our medical school friends so I hope this will be a fun way to keep everyone updated on our family, mainly our crazy boys.  Mine and Rich's lives won't change much.  Rich will be working long hours and learning the ropes of being an army doctor while I do my normal day to day stuff keeping up with the boys and around the house and trying to be a good mom.  I try to give myself some free time to get my fun stuff done, like video editing and scrapbooking.  We will see if I can keep up on those and this new blog!  It will be difficult.  I might just have a few all-nighters ahead of me since Rich will have quite a few night shifts his intern year.  Well, there is a quick update to get me started!
