The Pool, Swim Team . . .

Parker lives in his bathing suit!!
This is Parker on a Sunday morning. He puts his suit on every morning even when we aren't heading to the pool. He is now swimming on his own without his life vest. He basically taught himself how to swim . . . he turns 3 the end of August!
Jay and Brandt had so much fun doing swim team this summer. I can't believe how much they improved! I didn't think Brandt was going to make it all the way across the pool his first time swimming back stroke. They both did AWESOME!! And their jumps off the blocks became dives by the end of the season!

A Little Late . . . the 4th

We had fun going to the fireworks on post at Fort Gordon. The kids loved them. It was also fun to hang out with Adam & Jessie (Rich's sister) for a day.

Fun at the Lake!

I love how we have a lake just 15 minutes from us with a little beach area for the kids to swim. We went with a few other families and I had fun being the photographer! My friends' kids were cooperating better than mine for pictures . . .

FUN on the Fisher's Boat!

Brave Jay!

Jay lost his first tooth last week! His permanent tooth was almost completely coming in behind so Rich had to finally pull it.

OUR NEW ADDITION!

Many of you have wondered what has taken me so long . . . I ended up having an emergency c-section.  This little guy decided to stick his hand out when I wasn't fully dilated.  The nurse held his hand while they prepped me for surgery.  He was born 15 minutes later at 8:47 pm on Friday, May 22.  He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 21 inches.  Ty is healthy and doing great.  Can't say the same about me - not used to recovering after a c-section.  I will be taking it easy for a few weeks!  Very glad I have my mom here to help and look forward to my mother-in-law coming this weekend.  The boys adore him!

Marine Mud Run!

This was last minute for Rich to be in this run.  It was a 4.5 mile obstacle course at Fort Gordon.  The boys had a blast watching him!  I about killed myself trying to take pictures.  My mom comes tomorrow and I am being induced on Thursday.  2 more days to go!!
FUN in the MUD!  That is Rich's head popping up!

The boys are dressed in their swimsuits ready to swim in the mud!  j/k
Our pool opened that day and the kids were so excited to go straight there.

Rich's Hunting Trip

A few weeks ago Rich was able to take the weekend off and go to Colorado to go turkey hunting with 2 of his brothers and his dad!  He had a a lot of fun.  It was also his last chance to see Blake before he left on his mission.  He just went into the MTC this week!

Happy Easter

I'm a few days late posting and I have yet to get pictures in their nice Easter clothes . . . not much energy these days (5 weeks to go!)  I have also been horrible these last few months at checking blogs!  I will try and get to everyone's updates this week.  Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

The boys anxiously waited for dad to come home from the airport after dropping off Uncle Joe! They love their new Wii game Mario Cart from the Easter Bunny!  And they also loved getting Bolt from Grandma and Grandpa Evanson (this has been their new favorite movie)!

Masters Week!

So I asked Joe if his dream was to play in the Masters . . . and he said, "I WILL BE IN THE MASTERS SOMEDAY!  I am going to hold him to that!  Too bad we still won't be here in Augusta 15 minutes away!  I had no idea how big this golf tournament was.  Our realtor warned us to get out of town or not to leave our house!!

Every year spring break is the same as Master's week.  It is next to impossible to get tickets to it.  Rich happened to be given 2 tickets from a doctor he was working with on an out-rotation.  He was so excited to invite Joe to come out for it.  It was fun having Joe in town for a few days.  Rich took him to the Masters and then taught him how to shoot his shot gun!!  As for me, I pretty much did nothing over spring break but watch the kids and go through boy clothes to get ready for the baby!  fun fun

Soccer!
